KING LUD
Ryde

King Lud was a Viking who invaded the island in the sixth century, then moved on to London. Ludgate Circus is named after him and is thought to have the only other two pubs in the whole country with his name. At one time, this was a hotel situated on the beach. Re-built one hundred years ago, the décor is, of course, based on the Vikings.
