CRAB INN
Shanklin

Standing in the centre of the old village of Shanklin and getting its name from its association with the local fisherman, the Crab is said to have been used by King Charles I when he was interned at Carisbrooke. It is a charming sixteenth century building with a thatched roof - everything a country inn should be.
