Isle of Wight Nostalgia - Ventnor Heritage Museum

This is one of my favourite Island museums. It's only of modest size but always manages to provide something of interest. It is open weekdays from Easter to November (but check before setting out) it has fascinating displays of old photographs, prints, documents, and artefacts relating to Ventnor and district. There are also exhibits about the local railway with working models. New exhibitions are provided annually so it's worth a visit each year. The entrance fee is very modest with even a reduced party rate if booked in advance. Telephone (01983) 855407 or 854658.
