Barton Manor lies adjacent to Osborne House, so loved by Queen Victoria. There is a fine vineyard here proving that English wine can be excellent! The gardens feature a lake, secluded water garden, a national plant collection & hedge maze. Both the wines & gardens have won awards.
This view is behind the lake - part of an area left to encourage wild flowers.
This view was taken from the lake towards the secret garden to the right of the house.
The lake is home to some large fish who will eat from your hand! Visitors here are feeding the fish with food that can be purchased from the shop.
Yes, they are the fish!
The house is hidden behind the wall in this view of the lawn from the boathouse.
The house is open to the public but as it can be used for other purposes it is wise to check first.
The house & gardens.

Don't you want to be taken along this path to find out what's round the bend!?
