A behind-the-scenes look at Henfield Village Bonfire and Firework Display - 2000

By Saturday 4th November 2000 many hours of work had already been done in designing, purchasing & fusing the fireworks and constructing the rocket racks. Now it all had to be carefully laid out ready for the display only five hours away.

This year we mean business! This is part of one of the Roman Candle fireworks - each hole contains two fireworks! The white cable is part of the electronic ignition system in use for the third year at St. Peters

One hour of daylight left as the final wiring is completed.

The bonfire is lit as the crowd gathers.

... and the fireworks begin.

The crowd await the finale.

Probably the best yet - but wait to see what we have in store for next year!
